DayRentl Platform Privacy & Data Protection Policy

At DayRentl, safeguarding your personal data and real estate transaction privacy is our highest priority. This policy outlines how your data is collected, handled, and securely protected:

1. Information We Collect

We collect essential information required to operate the booking platform: full name, mobile number for identity verification, email address, city, and property specifications for listed units.

2. Automated Phone Number Masking

To preserve user privacy and protect broker commissions from bypassing, phone numbers are automatically masked. Direct contact details are never public and are revealed exclusively to verified parties tied to a confirmed active reservation.

3. Geolocation & Interactive Map Privacy

Device location (GPS) is utilized with your permission to show nearby listings and guide confirmed guests accurately to their rented unit. Background location tracking is never performed.

4. External Calendar (iCal) Feed Confidentiality

External calendar feeds provided for iCal synchronization are encrypted and stored confidentially. They are strictly processed to block overlapping reservation dates and are never shared with unauthorized third parties.

5. Cloud Security & Enterprise Encryption

All data is hosted on enterprise-grade Firebase cloud infrastructure protected by SSL/TLS encryption and strict database security rules preventing unauthorized access to financial and account records.

6. Device Permissions

Device permissions (Camera and Photo Gallery) are requested strictly for uploading listing photos and avatars, Geolocation for map placement, and Push Notifications for live booking alerts.

7. Complete Account & Data Deletion Rights

Users maintain an unconditional right to permanently delete their account and associated records at any time via Settings or by emailing support@dayrentl.app. Data deletion is carried out promptly in accordance with international privacy standards.
